ABOUT US
Let us introduce ourselves, and give you some background on our key personnel. Our management team at Smart Cabling Solutions has well over 100 years of combined experience in the commercial telecommunications industry. Extensive, hands-on experience with various organizations such as AT&T, Amerilink, Quiktron, and others.
Formed in 2001 by Ron Wagner, Smart Cabling Solutions was founded on the idea of providing personalized, hands-on service, and support. Brian Koester – RCDD, Vice President of Operations, and Jeff Cox, Vice President of Business Development came on board later in 2001, and Smart Cabling Solutions began growing and developing many long-term relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers. By 2005 Smart Cabling had gotten noticed for the fast growth and was featured in both the Kansas City Business Journal and Ingrams Magazine.
At Smart Cabling Solutions, we have invested a great deal of time and money to make sure that we have the trained personnel, and the best equipment to offer the best in telecommunications cabling. We are a Commscope business partner and offer both the Systimax, and Uniprise 20 year warranties. We are also a Leviton business partner and can provide the Leviton warranty, using a choice of approved cable partners.
We use the Fluke Network Cable testers for testing of all copper & fiber that we install. In 2007, Smart Cabling Solutions invested in a fusion splicer, and standardized on fusion splicing factory polished pigtails for all fiber terminations. This greatly reduced the inconsistency found with field terminations and improved all overall fiber testing results.
